Book Review: 'The Xchange Effect - A Journey in Collaboration Across Continents'

Updated: Apr 10

This remarkable book, titled "The Xchange Effect - A Virtual Journey of Cross-Country Collaboration and Co-Creation," has made an incredible journey across the globe, from India to the US and finally to Brazil, spanning thousands of miles!

The journey of this book symbolizes the essence of PMI Chapter Xchange Initiative. It started with Priya Patra in India, passed through Cacilda Andrade, PMP, Msc, Diretora PMI SP Andrade, PMP, Msc, Diretora PMI SP's hands in the US, and reached me in Brazil. This physical journey mirrors the collaboration that the book eloquently captures.

Having explored the digital version available on Amazon in the first semester, I was deeply inspired by the initiative's inception, its organization, and the valuable lessons learned. This book is a testament to the power of collaborative efforts and an inspiration to anyone who believes in the transformative power of collaboration and diversity.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to Priya Patra for the hard copy of this book. It is more than just a book; it symbolizes our commitment to advancing project management through global collaboration. I am proud to have been a part of this journey this year and look forward to continuing to contribute to such meaningful initiatives.

For those interested, I recommend exploring this inspiring read. Whether you are a Project Management Institute volunteer or someone who values the impact of collaborative efforts, this book offers insights and inspirations that resonate beyond borders.
