Dr. Sanjay Gupta's book, "Keep Sharp: Build a Better Brain at Any Age," is an eye-opener. Dr. Sanjay Gupta, an American neurosurgeon, medical reporter, and writer, explores various factors crucial for brain health, such as purpose and learning, sleep and relaxation, nutrition, socialization, and maintaining a healthy body. Some of these factors are linked to building a "cognitive reserve" and "brain resilience."

One compelling fact is that physical exercise is the only scientifically documented method to contribute to brain health and function. It's essential to dedicate regular physical activity for at least 150 minutes per week. It should be a non-negotiable daily activity, just like brushing your teeth.

Other studies highlight the power of exercises like squats to enhance mental abilities. I found this fascinating video featuring an interview with Dr. Damian Bailey, who discusses how controlled squats can significantly improve blood flow to the brain. Watch it here: https://lnkd.in/dnvYBKvT

Let's move, not just for a healthier body, but for a sharper mind, too!
