One Year of Blogging — A Journey of Reflections, Connections, and Inspiration

Since childhood, writing has been one of my greatest passions. I used to love exchanging letters with relatives and friends — including some from Greece and Ghana whom I met through a now-defunct Finnish service, the International Youth Service (IYS). I also corresponded with a dear Argentine friend I met during my middle school graduation trip.
For years, keeping a diary was also a constant habit. My journals were filled with collages, tickets, photos, and other mementos that enriched my records — making them bulky and difficult to close.
In adulthood, letter writing and journaling gradually lost space in my daily routine — although during the pandemic, diaries once again became part of it. Still, the joy of putting thoughts and knowledge into writing never left me. This skill has proven essential in my professional life, especially in projects that required drafting and reviewing strategic documents and processes.
I've always enjoyed sharing experiences that I believe can be useful to others. Whether personal stories — such as those about motherhood — or professional insights, especially in project management, sharing knowledge has always felt like a natural calling.
Just over a year ago, as I reviewed my previously scattered writings — blog posts, articles, and reflections — I realized it was time to organize them. That's how my blog (www.priscilavendraminimezzena.com) was born: a space to share, without reservations, the themes that, in one way or another, have shaped my journey.
Writing transports me to another dimension. It puts me in a flow state, connecting my mind's rational and analytical sides with the emotional. Writing often has a therapeutic effect on me: it strengthens self-awareness and helps me appreciate even the ordinary moments of life that are filled with meaning.
This practice has also expanded my reach — my texts have crossed geographical borders. I've been honored to receive messages from people in different parts of the world who shared their impressions and stories. Along the way, I've also had the joy of contributing to international publications.
Writing articles is a demanding task. It requires time, study, research, idea connections, the development of examples, multiple revisions, and great care in crafting the structure. AI tools are excellent assistants, but the process still demands human effort to ensure cohesion, depth, and authenticity.
This is my 70th article published over the past 12 months of blogging. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has encouraged me to keep going — by reading, commenting, sharing, or simply saying, "You should keep doing this." These gestures fuel my energy and inspire me to continue.
Learning, connecting, and exchanging experiences with others is what drives me. May this blog remain a catalyst for ideas and connections — and may my words continue to resonate, offering value to those who read them and to myself in this ongoing journey of growth and knowledge.
